At 7:30 mins, the girl mentioned that she felt a bit distant from dad as she no longer feels that comfortable saying "i love you" to her dad. As a father of two, I share very close relationship with my 6 years old daughter- I teach her, I play with her, I bring her out, we share secrets, and I am the person she finds to share anything. So i really encourage the female host to continue to try her best to maintain that loving bond with her dad despite what had happened. I want to share that no dad will bear grude permanently with their daughter and it's never too late to mend a distant relationship. And in the dad's eyes, our daughter will forever be our little princess and it's always a strong motivation when our daughter says i love you to us.

Talk is cheap. When you’re the breadwinner then what’s your expectation of your partner who’s the househusband/housewife? Taking care of the kids is never easy on top of household. Stereotype is the norm when there’s expectations and often it goes beyond gender.

The men vs women sleeping around point is kinda invalid. The reason one is "celebrated" while the other shamed on is because it's much harder for men to be able to sleep around. It requires a man to have looks/money/status/game (sometimes a combination of two or more) to be able to pull it off even if he has no standards. Whereas if a woman is willing to spread her legs, she is definitely getting laid. Disclaimer: my stance on hookup culture is that I am against it for both men and women, but I can't deny the fact that it's easier for women to sleep around

i'd say the reason why restricting females staying out late, usually, is due to vulnerability. when we watch news, the females are usually the ones getting preyed on such as sexual assault etc etc. and yes, man are generally born physically stronger than woman...

On one hand, Aida says girls shouldnt fit into the girls stereotype just because they are girls. Yet she is icked when guys supposedly do feminine stuff like carry umbrella and wet tissues (this two isnt even feminine at all!) ? A bit double standard leh.

I walk with an umbrella under the sun. Because I don't want to have to apply sunblock constantly. Exposure to direct hot sunlight also triggers my migraine, so I use the umbrella and also periodically wet my head, face and neck. And if I use sunblock, then every time I wet my face, I'll need to re-apply it. Troublesome, time-consuming, and not to mention expensive. So the umbrella is just a better solution. Also blocks out UV rays. Perfect.

funny how men putting on sunscreen is ok but carrying an umbrella is not. hmmm. in any case, gender stereotypes exist for a reason. to the point on coming home late, it is not unusually to think that women are less likely to defend themselves against a perpetrator as compared to men coz to begin with, these perpetrators are men too. generally speaking, men are stronger than women in a sense because of genetics. with testosterone, this allows men to gain muscle quicker than women and become stronger than them, generally of course. now, of course there are other sides to the statistic where there are specific women who are stronger than some men. and i do agree with that as seen in climbing gyms that i go to. to caveat, this is just one side to this discussion on gender stereotypes and does not apply to all cases yeah
